Sacrament Preparation
The Office for Faith Formation offers children, youth and adults
the opportunity to deepen their participation in their faith through
the sacrament preparation programs of First Reconciliation, First Holy Eucharist, Confirmation and RCIA.
Through individual and communal study, prayer and service the whole church community
celebrates the graces received from these sacraments each year.

RCIA
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the Catholic Church’s ritual for
initiating new members. Inspired by the catechumenate of the early Church,
this process has been recognized as an effective way to foster conversion in both new and current members.
Those who seek baptism or full communion with the Catholic Church are invited to attend Inquiry
to learn more about the Catholic faith and this initiation process.

Children's Liturgy
During Sunday Masses, the children ages 4-8 are dismissed from the assembly to
participate in a celebration of the Liturgy of the Word in language and song and
discussion that is meaningful to them. We would love to offer this ministry at all
of our liturgies. If you are interested in helping with Children's Liturgy,
please contact Sheri Kemp.
The ministers work in teams so that they lead only one Sunday a month and
comprehensive materials and support are provided to them.
Scripture Study Groups
Let the Word of God influence your busy life. Develop a deeper, more personal
relationship with God by joining us in various Scripture Study programs throughout the year.
Our programs combine personal bible reading and study, lecture and video,
small group faith sharing and prayer in an informal setting.
Currently, we have groups meeting on Monday nights at 7:00 and Tuesday mornings at 10:00 in the Commons.
Contact Carmen Harrelson (262-7634) for more information, or
Sheri Kemp if interested in starting a new Bible Study Group.
Adult Formation Series
Conversion is a life-long journey and it is imperative that adults be provided with an opportunity
to grow in their faith. Parishioners are invited to presentations on a variety of topics throughout the year.
Watch the parish bulletin and check the contact boards for news of upcoming programs.
Contact Sheri Kemp if you would like to suggest a speaker or program.
Mom's Group
The OLL Mom's Group is open to all mothers of the parish and community. It meets
the first and third Thursday of the month from 10-11:30 in the Chapel and
nursery. While the Mom's engage in discussion and prayer on a chosen topic, their
young children play together. The group is very informal and is a wonderful
opportunity for Moms to get together and share the joys and challenges of raising
Christian children. Contact Marcia Davis at 798-8822 for more information.
