Our Lady of Lourdes Church

Our Mission

Our Lady of Lourdes parish is a community of faith dedicated to living the spirit of Jesus Christ through the practice of our Roman Catholic tradition. Our mission is to communicate the message of Christ’s redeeming love to those lives we touch in the parish and throughout the community. With the use of our time, talent and treasure we support our church, parochial school, christian formation programs, social ministry and spiritual growth. We ask for the continued blessings and intercession of our patroness, Mary, Our Lady of Lourdes.

VIRTUS

Our Lady of Lourdes Parish takes the safety of our parishioners very seriously - especially our children. VIRTUS is a diocesan mandated program required by all who have continuous and consistent contact with our minors.
If you are interested in volunteering in activities where children participate, you need to attend VIRTUS Training. Sessions are approximately 3 hours in length. For more information regarding VIRTUS or to pre-register for a session, please go to WWW.VIRTUS.ORG.

Did you know...? that those of other faiths who want to become Catholic go through a process called RCIA? RCIA stands for Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults and is based on the process early Christians used for new members. There are four phases: Inquiry, Catechumenate, Purification & Enlightenment and Mystagogy. The Inquiry Phase is an opportunity for individuals to meet with members of the RCIA team and ask questions. For information on the Inquiry Phase, contact Kathy Talley by email, or call her at 262-7490.
